Sampling and Preparation

NofaLab is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-L440 accredited sampling body for mycotoxins analyses. Sampling is done on customer location for all kind of samples and analyses not limited to only mycotoxin analyses.
After receiving the sample from the customer, the samples need preparation before they can be analyzed. The first step in preparation, sterile dividing the samples for the different type of analyses, microbiology seperatly from other chemical analyses. Secondly, solid samples need to be crushed. This is done by plain crushing or with liquid nitrogen. After crushing the sample will be divided again for the different analyses.
All samples are stored in an automatic, environmental controlled, vermin-free Kardex cabinet for a period of 3, 6 or 12 months. It may happen that a customer wants additional and/or a visual check on the product. For this, we can then use the part of the sample that is stored in our Kardex cabinet. This service helps the customer a lot.
